What is RISQ-Online
The transparency platform of Pakistan is a working tool for national stakeholders on climate change. It accompanies the work on GHG inventories and help the tracking of actions and supports.
It contains two large separate modules, the first one is dedicated to GHG inventories, the second to actions (Policies and Measures) and supports.
- The term "inventory" is used for the module named "Inventories"., it is an object containing all the data associated with a GHG inventory. The platform can contain many inventories.
- The term "edition" is used for the module named "Actions and Supports". It is an object containing all information on actions and supports. The platform can contain many editions.
Note: the adaptation module has been designed for the Food&Agriculte sector as a first step and is still under experimentation; it is expected to be further developed, through a “learning by doing” approach, in alignment with other national initiatives (notably the development of the National Adaptation Plan and the revision of the National Climate Change Policy)
"Inventories" and "editions" are independent. The roles associated with the two modules are also distinct.
